Job Description

The PetroSA Boilermaking Apprenticeship is available for young and ambitious individuals who want to gain a practical experience with the company.
PetroSA (Mossel bay) is offering a limited number of Apprenticeship training opportunities to empower unemployed individuals with interest in the field of Artisan career development, at its Centre of Excellence (COE)

Minimum Requirements PetroSA Boilermaking Apprenticeship
South African citizen and residing in the Western Cape.
Grade 11 with 40% passes in Mathematics (not mathematical literacy) and Physical Science, or N2 with Mathematics and Engineering Science as passed subjects.
Drawings and Trade theory related to the trade you wish to pursue would be an added advantage.
Fluent in English
Physically fit to execute the work of an Artisan in the field applied for.

PetroSA Boilermaking Apprenticeship Job Specification
Successful candidates will be placed on a COE apprenticeship programme under a training contract that will cover the cost of the training including a monthly stipend as determined by COE. The programme will start in APRIL 2019 and will run for a period of approximately 36 months.

Important Information
Security, Pre-employment Medical and Physical assessments will be required.
PetroSA reserves the right not to award any training contracts under this invitation.
Successful candidates will be enrolled on a training contract and will not be deemed to be employees of PetroSA and future employment is not guaranteed.

Applicants who have a Degree, Diploma or have previously participated in any of our programmes will not be considered.
Must NOT be currently studying with any other institution or plan to be studying in 2019.
